Your Worst Weeds

Having done some gardening over the weekend I've realised that my top 3 most hated weeds all begin with B- bramble, bindweed and buttercup. What are your 3 worst weeds in the garden?

I don't know what it's called but there a horrible weed which climbs through everything and is sticky and prickly when you pull it up. Thin, grassy looking thing.

Snails. Lol. I don't get weeds, have gravelled over everywhere that isn't lawn.

I wonder if that's what I call goosegrass Tilly, I do get it but it comes up easily.

brambles and docks...and at least I get fruit off the brambles

Tilly. We call in Sticky Willy. But I don't know its real name. Think it gets called goose grass too. Horrible stuff.

Oxalis. It gets everywhere - even in pots. And dandilion as the roots are not easy to pull up

I cultivate dandelions because my tortoises love them....also sow thistle

And hog weed - not giant hog weed thank goodness. We get loads of weeds from the field around us. Imposdible to be weed free!

Raspberry plants seeded from the woods into my borders.....arrrrrrgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brambles bindweed and nettles gardens are full of all of them :(

And pixie I'm getting all my borders chuckied very very soon- nice one, with only my rhoddies and Japanese maple etc shining through.....no more no less......so much easier!

So much easier :-). Mine are slate or gravel and I haven't seen a weed for ten years.

I have just found this with reference to Sticky Willy:-

Not Just a Weed
The leaves and stems of the plant can be cooked as a leaf vegetable if gathered before the fruits appear.
