Okay the pressure gauge was on zero so I've re- pressured it but it's gone to 2!
I cannot bleed the radiator as I don't have any tools
I haven't turned the power back on yet but will it be okay at two?
It's not in the red area

Ric doesn't have a bleeding key.
The poster has not got a rad key.
Scrounge one from next door:-)
I went online and Worcester Bosch do on-line manuals for all models showing the drain valve very clearly.

Ok
Well I did not need a key I used a knife - instead of a flat screw driver
I've removed a good two bowl fills of water from one radiator and it seems to have worked it was going down but then it's gone back up
How can this be as the power is off?
Should I try another radiator
It's nothing to do with the power. Have you turned the filling valve off properly?
Water pressure is not dependent on the power, it is pressurised from mains pressure. Keep removing water until you reach 1 bar . do not be alarmed when you switch your heating on for the pressure to rise slightly. If you keep draining with no effwect make sure you have turned the feed water off firmly.
No need to try other rads they are all connected, drop in one you drop in all.
Question Author
How much would you say I needed to drain and shall I use different radiators
Look above at last two posts
Should have said 1.5 bar.

It could be The Selecter
I realise now that my experience is not of this type of system. Mine is automatically filled from a tank in the loft, so bleeding would have no effect on pressure.
it seems to have worked it was going down but then it's gone back up

To what pressure?
Question Author
Ok
I got it down to just over 1
Hot water was fine but then it started making noises and it's gone up to 1.5
Question Author
I'm worried it's going to keep filling up
Shalll I bleed it back to 1
Have you put the heating on?
Question Author
BTW none of the radiators are warm but I guess they just need bleeding?
Don't worry as the water heats up the pressure will go up. the noises are almost definately because of the amount of draining you have done and will settle down. Check it again after running for a few hours and if all ok you have fixed it . Congratulations you have saved a big call-out fee.
Switch on your heating and if the rads dont get hot then bleed. This is why I prefer to drain from the boiler
