Can anything be done with our upstairs toilet cistern - it takes approx. 15 mins. to fill. there is approx. a 6ft drop between it and the water tank in the loft and changing it to a mains fed cistern is not an option. Checked the cone inside the ball tap and it is the correct low pressure one fitted.
Absolute bugger when one has the *** :o(

Make sure the cone isn't clogged up with small particles of dirt, grime sand etc. Take the cone out the housing and clear with a safety pin, blow through, then re-assemble.
If no luck with Sips' suggestion, then possibly an obstruction in the storage tank.

Tank fed cisterns are prone to do this. Have a look in the tank for the outlet. Check for debris.

Tank outlet clear - cone was taken out and check cleared.
Is it really such a problem. Do you have the*** that often?
Ok, has it always been like that? One other possibility is the pipework layout. Also the pipe sizes used. Gravity systems can easily be affected.
