Too wet to garden so decided to sand what is left of the stairs and the new banister bit. Lord am I bored! I know I have to sand it perfectly to get a perfect finish but I could cheerfully set fire to it now and use a trampoline to get upstairs.
Still, wine breathing and Bernie Keith Rock and Roll on the radio so in half an hour I shall be slightly tipsy and singing along. :-)

Tok the grandkids to Pleasureland (Southport), to the bungee trampolines. They're actually being good and even quiet while we watch Team GB conquering all.

Stayed in, but its been very sunny and warm here all day.

Enjoyed one of Edinburgh's few summer days this year. Ate out in town which was abuzz with Festival activity then had a massive tidying session in the garden.
