Can anyone tell me the name of the little village in the vicinity of Exeter where William Courtenay, the 59th. Archbishop of Canterbury was born. The village is located, I believe, in the parish of St. Martin's. Many thanks in advance.

wonder how the Medieval Academy of America managed to unearth his birthplace, when the likes of Burke's peerage and the college of arms have never managed it?

mind you Burke's peerage has only been going since 1826 and the College of arms since 1420 so the Medieval Academy of America (est 1968) probably had the drop on them lol
