Hell - the A13

Heaven - the Milky Way

Is that the white or milk chocolate Milky Way?  I thought favourite chocolates were a different post?  Having travelled the A13, it would be on the list, although below Arsenal winning the Champions League
If Arsenal won the Champs league I would sit in my car on the A13 all day and STILL be in heaven

i think for those who dont wish to believe in god are proberbly afraid for some reason

may be their afraid the fact  of  his   existance or may be they are just ignorant

the saying of my prophet may peace be up on him said that paradise is out of any of our imagination but its a beautiful place to be in  the building in paradise are made of gold and silver stones are made of pearls emeralds   its so unique and inimitable and no eyes yet seen the wonders no ears heard of it and no hearts ever conceived its fascinating form!no one will be put in this place without sacrificing first and whats this sacrificing  means , i hear you say,

its a ticket to paradise its to worship day and night to achive this goal  and to believe in the oneness of god to avoid bad sin in this world to be kind to everyone

but hell  this subject is treated like the comments of daily weather its becouse of sheer ignorance of some we all dont want to be in  i would not even want my enamies to be in either

hell is so deep that if a stone were to be dropped into it  it would travel 70 years to reach its bottom  some of you might find this  mental   you proberbly think  how would i know these are the sayings of prophets so there! iand i believe in it  there are other   things but people might find me preaching again  so keeping it to the limit

sorry ended up wrigting twice at the end

Merlin approx 2 years after my Dad had passed away I went to see a clairvoyant (They see spirits) This chap only knew my name and he told me NOT to tell him anything. He then said my Dad was standing next to me and described him to perfection and passed on messages from my Dad that only WE knew.He even gave the colours that my mother chose for my Dad for his cremation.I saw this man again when my mother passed and again he gave messages from both.He told me he my mum had passed from cancer of the pancreas,I did'nt say a word so how did he know? I now belong to a spiritualist church and there's many sceptics leave there astounded believe me. I just mentioned mullein as she said she's a medium but Im speaking from my experiences.

Heaven is in the heart and hell is in the head

Its not a case of not wishing to believe there are those of us who consider the point rationally and dont see how there can possibly be a God. Its not a matter of choosing. And none of us is afraid of something that we know does not exist. And we are ignorant only if God does exist. By the same token, you are ignorant if he does not. And I could say that you are afraid that there is no God and thats why you wont consider the point rationally.

You say that the saying of your prophet is that paradise is out of any of our imagination, but then go on to describe it in a way that can be imagined. Heaven, paradise, nirvana etc etc are by definition wonderful places but that does not mean they exist. Where is your heaven?
What do you sacrifice by worshipping? I would quite like to have a couple of hours a day just for uninterrupted meditation. If I had that, I would be gaining, not sacrificing!
And what does the oneness of God mean I suspect that it means something more than just that God is one (as opposed to dual or triune)?
I always assumed that hell would be the absence of God for eternity. But you describe hell in terms that suggest that it is a physical place, so where is it?
Where can I find the sayings of the prophets you refer to? Do any of them describe God?
I have to agree to some extent with what you say about what man has done to the planet, but there is honesty and justice in the world just not enough of it in the right places. People do suffer and some suffering is caused by man and some can be stopped by man but isnt. And who enjoys seeing people suffer?  I hope that you are not assuming that being atheist automatically means that I am a wicked sadistic warmonger. I might just be unable to believe in God through no fault of my own.

I dont believe that there is life after death except, as I have said before, in the sense that our loved ones live on in our memories or in the sense that a composer lives on in his music. I dont believe in eternal life after death or resurrection because these things simply cannot happen how can they?
What, according to your prophets, or better still according to you, is the soul where does it come from, where does it live inside of you how is it attached to you?

FINA

If it helps you cope with your loss, then go with it.

But my chin is still bruised from hitting the floor when I read what mullein posted!

merlin

you asked me where the soul comes from

it comes from god when a child is in a mothers womb after certain time life begins to form.

this happens when god commands the angels to blow soul in to it  and the same way happens when god commands the angel to take the soul away.

  same thing happens here too.

have you not watched the film "ghost" learn from that how the soul takes the goody guy away and how the bady guys are taken away  soul is  invisible  to the eyes  but it does exist

you say where is it attached to me  it is  attached to each and everyone of us  its like  spirit but im not that powerful to know only god knows but it is there , its beyond anyones imagination

Alawibaz
Life begins to form in the womb at the moment of conception. Does a single-celled entity have a soul? Or does it get a soul after a week, or after 40 days, or when the brain has reached a certain level of development? What is your view do we all get given our soul at the same point in our development in the womb?
When does God command an angel to take the soul away from a person who dies suddenly, unexpectedly and instantly in an accident?
I think Ghost is a great film and will one day be recognised as one of the greatest weepies of all time. But it is fiction. It has nothing to teach us about the soul. It is religion that teaches us about the soul, not Hollywood. As for being beyond anyones imagination I would like to think that I can imagine things far beyond what can be shown on a cinema screen

Are you saying that there is only one soul and that one soul is shared by all of us? Dont we each have our own soul?

MERLIN, You make a great point. What does anyone sacrifice by worshipping? If I also got a few hours a day to meditate, then that would be like heaven. I agree. Worship is definitely not a sacrifice if God and heaven are as alawibaz describe them. If God is the god of some Christians or Jews or Muslims or whatever I know, then I don't think I would like to have him as a god. I know too many Christians who talk about love and are the biggest jerks. If they really believed the book that they read, then they wouldn't act like that. However, since I've read the Bible, I find it's assertions plausible. The Bible says that all men are evil (offended God) by choice. If that be the case, then why wouldn't God send us to a place called hell, which the Bible describes as separation from God and a place of fire. If God is as the Bible describes, then he can make it so that the human body does burn forever. But then the Bible describes heaven as a relationship with God forever. But it is only for those who trust in Jesus to take away their offenses against God, since He never offended God. That's what the Bible says about heaven and hell.

This is just food for thought. I'm still studying the Bible to find out what I believe about it. But, if indeed the Bible is true, then wouldn't we be in serious trouble? If not, then all of us, no matter what we believe are ok, right?

u seem to question alot,  i try my best to make you understand  my belife

no i am not saying that there is only one soul  each of us are individual and so is our soul  although each soul would be based at diffrent points they would be etherally  connected to their mortal remains and the exact means of this contact or link is only known  to god almighty however, for the purpose of understanding this phenomenon one may ponder over the position of a sleeping person whose soul is also linked but the exact nature cannot be comprehended. im not a scientist i know this information through a book on souls  and when one believes in the oneness  of god he provides knowledge to man

1. man is aware about his inevitable death yet he indulges in laughter and merriment

2. knowing that this world will come to an end, man still hankers after it.

3 man knows that everything has been predistined yet yet he laments over the loss ot something.

4 man has been warned and has the full knowledge about the fire of hell but he would still continues to sin .

Alawibaz

OK, no more questions.
If you had read a different book on souls, your views would have been different.
Yes -  man is aware about his inevitable death yet he indulges in laughter and merriment thats nice.
Knowing that this world will come to an end, man still hankers after it because there is nothing else!
Man does not know that everything has been predestined, neither do you.
Man may have been warned by other men, but man does not have full knowledge about the fire of hell. He does not know where it is or what it is like.
Perhaps I question a lot because I am looking for the truth. If you dont question anything, you just accept what you are told and believe that that is the truth. The questions I have asked were inspired by what you have said yourself. If you talk so knowingly about hell, I would expect you to be able answer a simple question about hell. If you believe in an eternal soul, I would expect you to be able answer a simple question about the soul.
