Does anyone know if there were guillotines in the Bastille and if so were they named anything in particular?

no there werent. the guillotine was a public excution device during the revolution, and so was set up in places like place de la concorde. As to them having individual names...not that i am aware. The guillotine was named after Dr guillotin, who reccommended its use to the conseil de surete publique. he didnt invent them, as they were in use in Halifax a hundred years before.
