Is it true that everyone who works is entitled to 4 weeks paid holidays?
Our boss has said we are only allowed 3 now and they are unpaid!
Thanks Jules

Thanks Cheekychops. That info is very useful! I think I need to speak to my boss!!
Cheers Jules x
Do remember, though, that if you are part-time, you're only entitled to a proportion of that amount. Also, if you're employed on a casual basis, it's not a legal requirement.

What do you mean Saxy_jag? I am part-time so what exactly do you mean by a proportion of that amount? Sorry for not understanding.
Jules
Basically, if a full-time worker (eg 40 hours a week) is entitled to 20 days paid holiday, someone who works half those hours would be entitled to half as much holiday - 10 days in this example.

Oh I see thanks for that info, I understand now. Thats really useful to know as we do not get any paid holiday only bank holidays.
Thanks you guys for all your help.
