While clearing out my deceased father in laws belongings we came across an inactive grenade. Looks like a WW2" one (from my education based on 'Commando' comic books and war films) Handle and pin are intact but there is nothing inside it. Is there any value, or would a museum be interested? Perhaps they are ten a penny.

Not ten a penny but you won't be retiring off the back of it

Thanks Jake. That one went for 48 and others seem to be fetching more. I have never sold on ebay, and would be a bit nervous of causing a security alert posting it, but I will investigate further.
Any cash I can raise for the mother in law would be welcome at this time.
Sure it's not the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch?

Question Author
How would I know?
Throw it at deadly rabbits and see what happens.

Alternatively, watch Monty Python and The Holy Grail.
