I am trying to find a 90's dance song but the only words I remember are "Goodbye goodbye lonely words are in my mind" and that it's a female singer!Please help me find it

those words appear in a song called "goodbye", released in 1988 by a group called Savage - this may not be the original version as several other tracks on their album are covers.
