not sure if this is the right place, but where do all the shoes on railway lines and motorways come from?

well ... at least 1 of them came from the top of my Sons car after he drove off from work last Friday night leaving his Shoes on the Roof!
we recovered one from a Hedge ... the other obviously decided to walk home and is now lost somewhere in Buckinghamshire!

It's a Size 9 M&S one .... anyone finds it please point it in the direction of Middlesex!

on railway lines ,their known as fishplates.
IThey're optical illusions, because of the speed of the train, when the sun is low on the horizon, you get the 'mirage' effect of a 5 year old Adidas Samba. Occasionally.
Probably the same place as all those trainers you see suspended from power cables by their laces................
