I hope it is not. Most Asian people Indo/Pak & Arabs in specific, do not wear gold unless it is 22ct and generally prefer to buy and keep 24 ct Gold blocks for rainy days, or for more jewelry. Gold is normally a good investment as the price usually goes up fairly steadily - or so the thinking goes
yes it is verry much illegal give it all to me
To be slightly dialectic, it depends what you do with it. If you were to hit people over the head with a London Good Delivery Bar, you would probably be guilty of assault, perhaps even manslaughter or murder. If you mean owning it or buying it, then no, it is perfectly legal, in fact "Investment Gold" (see http://www.taxfreegold.co.uk/whatisinvestmentgold.html for a definition) was made exempt from VAT in the UK and EU on January 1st 2000. Being pedantic, 24 carat gold probably only exists in theory. the highest purity commonly available is .9999, which can contain up to 1 part per 10,000 of impurity, this makes it only 23.9976 carat. What was the answer to the second part of your question?
