Simple things, eh.......but looking around the world, for all it's been a miserable summer, we're fairly lucky.......xxx

Sounds bliss! After raining for most of the day it has now cleared and we have a bit of a blue sky. The cat is in th garden chasing a butterfly, and I've just poured a lovely chilled glass of white wine.....

Hi, Eleena....I used to mind my granddaughter one day a week....we had a huge garden and I'd buy one strange thing each week to hide in the garden. Occupied her for ages finding the new thing.....
She's grown....gone off to stage school...and I now have a small garden full of strange things..... :-)

Ah, memories of previous summers, sitting in the garden with our bottle of wine, the farmer harvesting the crop and as he passes (perilously close to) our back fence raising our glasses to him as he waves back. Missed out this year due to timing and weather.
Spent most of afternoon and evening listening to 'Blowers@ commentating on his last Test Match. Brilliant!
