Mid Sis's 50th birthday in a couple of weeks and I've been left to get the flowers (not a prob) but write the card from me, Big Sis, Big Bro, and Little Bro. As you ladies can imagine the boys are USELESS and haven't even acknowleged the fact we're getting her flowers!!! Shall I just go ahead with some bland 'Happy Birthday.. hope you've had a lovely day' message, or try and be 'jaunty and observant' of her teens, youth, marriage, mum& dad, and us girls (the boys can *** off!!!!).. So any pointers would be nice.. (impossible task as you don't know our disfunctional familam)... worth a try... [note to self.. take notebook to bed to night and get creative :-) ] thanks xxx

As a boy i'll just *** off then!
Happy Birthday Sis
Whilst you smell the flowers with us girls the boys will go on the **** and celebrate.
if you're really dysfunctional, you'd probably be best with some fairly bland statement like "Here's to the next 50". No point in trying to say anything striking on behalf of others who may be offended or may not even care.
'Half a century of being a wonderful sister. Thanks and love you'? Would that do or do you really want to miss out the boys - wouldn't blame you.

In that case something on the lines of 'We girls grew up together, we are the only ones who know each other so well. Thank you for half a century of sisterly love and loyalty' etc... Any help? You could embroider that a bit with a 'Remember.....'

'Darling Cals, Have a lovely birthday...(It's all down hill from here on in!!!). We all love you, think you're hilarious and adorable. All our love Foff, Didi... Oh and Brian and Mark if they can be bothered to remember...

I wasn't being crude about the boys.. the word was b then u then g another g then an e and an r... term of endearment down South.... it's just a boy thing..leave it to their wives/sisters to sort it all out, then lap up all the praise...
