Hi I recently used an online ouija board and I thought I'd ask it some questions for a bit of fun. I know these things are probably computer generated answers, but to one question it spelt out the message LEAVE ME NOW. This unnerved me a bit and I know these things are probably rubbish but why would it spell that message, only on the second question I put to it?

Perhaps the time you get to play on it is limited - and they just like to get rid of you in a spooky kind of way. Load of rubbish!
I haven't seen it, but I suspect the messages are randomly generated, like this one

Obviously the clues in the title - ouija - so the responses will be skewed to the sppoky and un-nerving.
I think sppoky is a good new word.
I wouldn't give it a second thought.
Don't spook yourself by going there anymore. If you have a question to ask or a decision to make why not ask on here?

At least we're real and might be able to give you some support even if we don't know what the future has in store.
Utter codswallop. You said it, randomly generated. Try online Scrabble instead.
LEAVE ME NOW.
Why wouldn't it spell that out ? Probably good advice.
GIVE ME THE WEB ADDRESS. I WANT TO TRY IT.
I've just been to this website...

I typed in “Am I talking to a computer program or am I talking to a dead soul?”.

The response was: PROGRAM

V. Cool.
I just asked, "Are you real or digital?".
It said digital.
↑ A ouija board with a sense of humour!
It seems to be a little known fact that ouija boards are owned by Hasbro (the games company)

Is it worth saying that they are not instruments for talking to the dead? Since communication with the dead is impossible – since they're dead – it stands to reason that people who use these things and believe they're actually communicating with dead people are... to not put too fine a point on it... either deluded or liars.
I just went to an online ouija and asked how Frank Zappa is - eerily, the answer was revealed: "OK" ........Phew !
Birdie, I just went there and asked what Amy Winehouse's last thoughts were and it said "too dark" - brrrr, I'm chilled to the core !
↑ And so you should be. The children's toy never lies. ;-)
Is it worth saying that, that is just your opinion birdie, ohers hold different opinions.
I just asked it if i was beautiful.

I said "NO"

I don't like this game :-(
It knows your avatar.
