And the question is?
How long ago was recently? ACAS have a website with very good guidance on what should happen in disciplinary proceedings and they have a phone line too.

If you are a member of a union then they are also worth a call.

I have been suspended since 14/02/12 and i received a letter on 20/02/12 from HR stating that i have been suspended because of 5 reasons and that my line manager is conducting an investigation into these matters and i have to wait until the investigation has not been completed,in the meantime i have been suspended on ful pay.
what do you want to know?
okay Get on to your HR department and get a copy of your firm's disciplinary policy. This will tell you what your manager must do and what your rights are.
check your terms and conditions of employment in the staff handbook, it may give a time scale for a disciplinary meeting, but if the line manager or anyone else pertinent to the matter has say had annual leave or similar it may be delayed. Is this your first such disciplinary action?
It sounds reasonable so far sarfraz.

You were susoended and have had a letter laying out the grounds for the suspension and the dsiciplinary action. The Manager will be investigating the issues now, in between his/her normal work and that will involve meeting with the other epopel concerned. This can take a while as they will need a few days notice of a meeitng.

So we are what, 3 weeks on now. I would expect to hear in another week or two and be called for a meeting. At this meeting you will be entitled to take a colleague or a union rep along with you. You will then wait another few days for the verdict.

If you are not happy with the verdict you will have 7 days to apeal to a senior manager.

Use this time to prepare your resonse to the allogations. Gather statements from witnesses (if it involves any) or ask colleagues to write supportive statements for you.

On the other hand if you are guilty of the wrong doings, prepare your apologies and your plans to put things right in order to hold on to your job.

good luck
So, you've had your answer already from your HR department. You need to wait until the investigation is completed (obviously).

You're suspended on full pay. What's the problem?
The issue, 20/20, is that naturally people feel concerned when events seem to be out of their control. There is often not too much to think about at home except to brood about the situation.
Three weeks is not necessarily a long time - some employers spend weeks investigating. Though I appreciate it is hard for you, sarfraz, the fact that is taking a long time does NOT mean that the position is proving to be more serious. Some employers are just inept as dealing with these things. Maidup's advice is spot-on as to what you should be doing (plus trying to relax a little, given the 'free' holiday).
