. . . and, although his might not be the first name to come to mind, Callaghan. (Anyone who makes 857 appearances for the same team must surely be a 'legend'!).

Not a LFC fan but I have to go for leading goal scorer for 8 consecutive years (10) seasons ,world cup winner, pure class, came to Bolton for a couple of seasons he was unplayable in that leaque, saw him score four goals in one game, I do not usually go on about Liverpool players but he was class and a smashing bloke also.
