your best bet is try the salvation army, it would proobably be easier and quicker. they find him, contact him and let you know if he is interested in being in touch. my friend did it a few yrs ago with her father that she hasnt seen since she was a child living in london, in the end her father was in dublin and she met him once, turned out there was nothing there for her really to keep up contact with him but everyone is different, good luck.
