I have a Rohdedendrum that always flowers from the 1st of October until the first hard frost in Novemeber of December, The plant was bought in the north of Scotland, is there any connection with the puchase place or do I have an unusual plant?

might be a case of 'distant drums '----it beats me ! :<)
Have a look at the websit www.paghat.com/rhody and that will explain why you are getting the quite rare, late second bloom.
