Some of you will know I am working on my family tree of Sellars/ers/ors.
I have now moved on to Fred Sellars born May 1873 in Longsight Manchester.
I have found him on the census of 1881,1891,1901 and 1911.
In 1911 he was living with his wife Emily (nee Chew).
They had been married for 11 yrs and had no children, but I cannot find a death date for him.
If he moved out of the Manchester area then how can I find out where he moved to?
I've tried several of the genealogy sites but am having no luck.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks dotty.I discounted all the Fredericks as I have his birth certificate that states his name as Fred.
Will go and have a look at that.
There's a Fred Sellers born 1873 died in Bradford in 1950

Name: Fred Sellers
Birth Date: abt 1873
Date of Registration: Apr-May-Jun 1950
Age at Death: 77
Registration district: Bradford
Inferred County: Yorkshire West Riding
Volume: 2b

Was this Emily?

Name: Emily Sellors
Birth Date: abt 1877
Date of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar 1961
Age at Death: 84
Registration district: Manchester
Inferred County: Lancashire
Volume: 10e

It's not the Bradford one as his widow was called Minnie.
Question Author
Yes I think that might be Emily as she was born 1876 ish
I've checked the Frederick that Dotty suggested and it seems feasible but that's the first time I've seen him named as Frederick.
On every other occasion he was just Fred.
Thanks craft and dotty.
Oh by the way craft, do you remember me asking about my great uncle Bill from the Isle of Man?
I found he has a grandson same age as me and I met him today.
It was always my intention to find a Sellors that is still living, and now I have.
He is my second cousin ( I think!)
Excellent Miss Prim................I found a cousin I never knew existed through Friends Reunited.

I've only just read through your posts, but on the point of Fred / Frederick, it's likely that although he was registered as Fred, known as Fred throughout his life, when it comes to registering the death, the information we have in the Index is only as good as the knowledge of the informant. Thus if the informant thought that Fred was short for Frederick ....
interesting too that both the frederick i've found and the emily are spelt as sellors
plus manchester sub-district volume 8d changed in 1946 to 10e, so the two deaths were registered at the same office.
