card playing

Anybody know where I can learn to play cards as a hobby in Belfast or outside it. thanks - I am trying to get some hobbies up - there a few card schools but they want experienced players. Thanks for any answers.

I think you can buy books explaining it all connemmara. Best to start with something simple I reckon and then go on to the more difficult ones. Whatever you do, don't play for money, it's a mug's game and you will end up poorer.
