Every time I go in my greenhouse the same spider has spun a web across which I catch with my face, On it's back it has a white 'religious' cross, What type of spider is it,and should I be worried??

I don't know, but our garden is inhabited by massive spiders in webs, it's as if each one has been allocated its own territory.

Oh God no boxtops, I'm terrified of them...getting shivers now thinking of 'em!
I know "they're more scared of me than I of them" but I don't care, they have 8 legs and are sneaky, they run and hide and then you can't find 'em...thats just evil game playing haha

Arachnophobia was on a while back and i squealed my way through it whilst hiding behind a cushion haha

If it is brown with a white cross on it's back it's a common garden spider.
