psp and memory stick

My son has PSP and a secondhand memory stick which has stuff on that I rather not let him see.
I tried inserting the psp memory stick in the computer but has no outlet / connection point. Old computer or Old man not having a clue

have you got a cable that allows you to plug your psp into the pc? a usb one end and a small connector the other?

if so, simply connect the psp to your pc and it will appear as a new drive.double click this new drive icon and remove the stuff not wanted.
