I speak Spanish fairly well but am thinking of learning Catalan as my wife and I are holidaying in the Costa Brava. I know the local people understand Spanish but it is I think, appreciated if you try and speak to some one in their language.
Anyone know of titles I can look for with ISBN if possible.

There seems to be no such thing as a Catalan phrase book. I've checked both the Stanfords and Foyles sites (where I'd normally expect to find such things). The nearest I can find is this guide book, which has some Catalan phrases:

or 'Teach Yourself Catalan' (which is probably too complex for your needs):

Publishers probably can't make enough profit from phrase books for minority languages to justify their publication. I had the same problem when I travelled to Bratislava recently. There's no Slovak phrase book available. (I had to settle for a generic 'East European' phrase book, which includes a small Slovak section).

In the catalan area both french side and spanish side the bookshops stock dictionaries with useful phrases. I know this as I've bought one for my SIL ( I bought it in Argeles)
