i'm pretty sick of playing 'Cod'
theres just to many nerds learning how to fire grenade launchers across the map just as you start the matches...and the new map pack is awful, the levels are ok but £10.99 for three new maps and then ones we've already payed for previously. whats with that? we got more for our money on call of duty 5 and 4 with them all being new maps.
They seem to be basic to...if you take bad company 2 for instance, their maps feel they have many different landscapes with a different feel to each, but call of duty maps feel as if they're are on one level..like i know theres stairs to go up and bunkers to go underground but it still feels like its just a flat terrain.
I think i might not buy anymore of those games....red dead redemption and future soldier look pretty amazing... one game i was looking forward to playing was splinter cell but then i found out it was only for xbox where as i'm a ps3 owner.
What do you people think? and which games coming out interest you?

i know what you mean. i think the maps on Battlefield have a lot more to them. and the COD ones do feel quite flat. i mean even on wasteland its quite basic.
ive found that when you start favela people can just grenade anywhere and it somehow finds you! i too am on ps3 and the news maps i felt were not worth the money. but i will say that crash is a fun level for getting your kill streak up.
im a girl and it doesnt help when the guys on the other end rub it in my face. but always feels good when i chopper gunner their butts! but if any other girls are reading this do you find that all the players go for you if they know your a girl? i mean it doesnt happen all the time but when it does you get that lads just shouting abuse at you.
but red dead looks amazing, the i hear the multiplayer is a bit like World of warcraft as in you can travel through the online world in clans and stuff, i cant wait for it to come out!

@lumination afghan i the worst level in my opinion. right at the start you have to run like hell so the grenade launchers can't get you. and favela is pretty awful with the grenades..but i have to admit i am one of those guys who throws their grenades and it somehow gets a person. I think i've only heard one girl on mw2..obviously theres more :P when i kill someone its just because i see them, i don't try to pick someone out just because they're a girl or something..but some people are real divs like you said.

I think maybe that 360 players have more talent and they don't feel the need to practice that. how about them using lightweight and marathon perks? as soon as you start they run across the map and shoot ya. mw2 has a load of problems in my opinion..the cod five creators though have a bit more understanding so hopefully number 7 will be better
