X-box bargain
You can get an old X-box from Argos for �69.99 including 4 games - must be a bargain ?

Not a bargain methinks.
Recent XBox 360 games will not play on the older XBox, and no new XBox games are being produced.
Also if you do buy XBox games they will not play on the XBox 360 which uses different technology.
Buying an old XBox is a dead end.
Surely better value is a PS2 which you can get for about �90.
There are hundreds of games available, and new games still being produced.
And any PS2 game you buy will still play on a PS3 when it comes out.

Anyway, my point is that because the original Xbox is now dead as a dodo the games are dirt cheap (especially via ebay). I was going to sell a chunk of my Xbox collection on ebay but when I looked into it I found that I'd get next to nothing for them, thats even if they would sell at all, so I changed my mind!
I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of stores selling off stock really cheap soon either as I can remember that happening when the Dreamcast went down the toilet!

buy the xbox...4 games alone would sell for that price.

Steve - Where did I run down the original Xbox? I was saying it IS a bargain! I like the console (I got mine on launch day for �299) and own over 100 games for it. But fact is it's dead - no more consoles are being made and there are hardly any more games (if any at all) due to be released for it.
