It's the smell though isn't it. Stinks the house out for ages even with lots of spray etc and it's a bit cold to leave all the doors open, apart from the fact that it might attract the neighbourhood cats.
Mmmmmmmmm - enjoy.
I love the smell of kippers, There's a little kipper smoking shop at whitby and it smells wondrful but it has never been open to sell when I've gone by. My dad loved them but whenever I'd eaten them as a kid they've always had loads of bones in so I'm reluctant to have them.. scarred for life lol! Let me know if they're nice, you just may convince me!
I love kippers but I haven't had them in ages. Usually have peppered mackeral but it makes me feel thirsty all day.
When ever I go up North if I've got time I always drop into Craster and pop into Robsons, they smoke every thing depending on whats in season and their kippers are the best, Whitby smoked kippers are good but in my opnion Craster kippers are the tops
kippers make me f@rt :-0
