My wife wishes to make some `Smoothies` and would like to know how to make them for when our 9yrs of age grandaughter comes to visit us on Saturday. Can she use frozen fruit or does she have to use fresh ruit only?

You can use frozen fruit certainly. Blueberries and raspberies are good frozen, they make the drink nice and cold. You can get ideas on websites or get cheap books with lots of ideas. Letting the children make their own is fun - can get all sorts of mixtures
over-ripe banana, coconut milk, any other fruit - blend, add sugar.
