Why do we do this?

We have so many good days and then suddenly we start thinking about our loved ones lost. Why, out of the blue?

Sometimes they just pop into our thoughts for no reason. I went to an outrageously-priced English food shop yesterday, and the owner was sat behind the counter eating a pot noodle. I instantly thought of my brother who was obsessed with pot noodles when he was a child. xx
I guess it's that time of the Year again ummmm ! Every year that passes means that loved ones and Friends pass away and unfortunately that is life I'm afraid. The numbers get less as each Year passes.

Oh ummmmm I do so understand, sat alone on New Years Eve I decided ti fill in the calendar with all familybirthdays etc and when I got to Hubbys birthday in april I dissolved and by the time I reached our anniversary in september, Ihad to stop. Its only natural but still hurts.

Take good care my love ♥
Even reading your thread title made me well up without warning - guess its not too far away but we manage to supress it until something jolts you unexpectedly.
J's 21 in 4wks and her dad obviously isnt gonna be there and i've had to put myself on red alert as this is one of the major firsts we are going to have to go through without him :(
Yes dris the first are the hardest!
We have had all the firsts for him -birthdays anniversaries and other things that didnt seem important when he was alive but I have been dreading being the lone parent at important events in the kids lives and this is 'my' first -then there will be the weddings and babies and all i can see at times is blooming misery where they should be happy events.Just gonna have to get my happy hat on and make sure its extra special for her :)

Hope youre getting there Mamya -emotionally and physically and hope Tom is well on the mend x

that because they are around us at times like these. hope you take some comfort in knowing that.
(big hug Ummmmmy!)
Sometimes we can be going about our daily lives and all it takes is a certain smell, song, memory and it all comes flooding back. Just remember the good times, they help us through the bad.

Hope your ok ummmm xx
