Looking for the recipe for salt dough so that we can make some crimbo dekkies, also anyone shine a light on the wee bicckies that you can make using pastry and boiled sweets to hang on the tree, this isnt for children but for our guys with disabilities so in essence we will be doing it for them, also any other ideas our wonderful abers can give us!

Make a dough of twice the flour to salt ratio. Heat the mix in a pan add water to make a firm dough, turn out, knead well, roll it and cut to shape.

Bake for 30 40 mins to set. Paint using food colours mixed with egg whites, add decorations - silver balls etc and 'reserve' it with a spray of clear polyurethane stuff ONLY if they are NOT going to be tried to be eaten or at all likely to end up in someones mouth....

Make the holes for hanging before you bake by the way.....
