Christina - there is a lot of information/recipes at this link where we helped someone with fish a few days ago:

Baked trout.

Get one whole trout...gutted and cleaned and place on a large piece of silver foil.

Drizzle fish with olive oil and then put a few good knobs of butter and some herbs in the cavity....i use parsley and thyme. You can also add some chopped garlic if you want too.

lastly, slice a lemon up and place the slices all over the fish and again in the cavity....use two lemons if you want.

Wrap the fish in the foil, bung in the over @200 C for about 25-30 minutes, unwrap and enjoy.

You don't have to have any of the above ingredients if you don't want them...you can just wrap the trout up in foil and bake.
