my friend hasn't any scales and wants to make Yorkshire puddings, only wants to make about 6 so what measurements would she need, maybe using a spoon or cup as a guide instead of scales, thanx

Crack two eggs into a measuring jug, take a note of the volume.

Pour into a bowl. Wash and dry jug and measure the same quantity of flour and again of milk.

Add seasoning, whisk, cook.

You don't need scales, just three dishes the same shape and size. Put the eggs into one, and flour and milk into the other two making sure all three are the same size in volume. Whisk everything together and away you go.

I've always followed Jamie Oliver's recipe using four eggs and then equal measures of flour & milk. They come out huge and perfect every time.
