Anyone have any recipes that will work in a fairly basic breadmaker?Ones without fruit would be great as OH cannot eat (and kids won't eat LOL)To be honest just a basic chocolate cake made that way would be good.I would experiment but I don't know where to start!

Thanks anyone

I don't have a breadmaker so no idea. I found this on the internet, which might help Aya.

My son adores brioche made in the breadmaker, its sweet and he smothers it in butter! Its really lovely.

260ml milk
2 eggs
180g butter,melted
600g white bread flour
1.5 tsp salt
80g sugar
2.5 tsp dried yeast.

Put ingredients in in that order, set to light crust if poss and off you go.

Sorry for not getting back to you both until now,but thank you very much for those,I am doing a Tesco shop now so I will get everything I need and bake away on Thursday!

Looking forward to it,and I will save you a slice each!

ours is a basic one too, doesn't give a recipe but says that ready-to-make cake mixes can be used.
