Lentil Soup Is Ready

Home made, Slooopy threw me a ham shank this morning, it is a touch thick but there is some fresh plain home made bread if you want to spread it on?

I like soup that sticks to yer ribs, anyone else?

i'm gonna miss all of you. not back until the end of feb late evening and then have physio the next day. well planned. this is a quick break between housework. do like to come back to a clean house. silly i know but that is just one of those things. your spicey lentil soup on the journey will be perfect. thanks.

i think thats pretty normal to want to come back to a clean and tidy house, i always have to change my sheets.

Fluff, isn;t nice to get away but come home to a tidy house, fresh linen (or satin!) then dump the bags down and unpack at leisure.

Alba reading about your home made bread is mouthwatering . I have a breadmaker and make one now and again but I will have to be content with garlic bread done in oven with my meal tonight xx

I love lentil soup. It is simple to make and cooks quickly. I made that last week and it lasted for almost the entire week.

Soup is about right for me - still feel like sodding quasimodo with half my face wonky after a visit to the dentist.

No croutons though ... or crusty bread :+(

Emergency tooth repairs - filling done, but "stay off the hard stuff" for 24 hours or so ... wine seems to be OK though :)
