Has anyone tried this, Its absolutely revolting, thick gelatinous lumps that do not dissolve, even after mashing them with a fork.
I made another one in case it was a fluke, but no that was the same absolutely inedible, I was so disgusted, I decided to write to manufacturers and complain. I sieved the soup and put these horrible big lumps in a freezer bag and sent them back with a letter to quality control. It will be interesting to see what happens. I also enclosed a packet of the mix so they could try it themselves.
Has anyone else tried this?

Leek and potato. Yuch!
bit like its creator then, //absolutely revolting, thick gelatinous lump//
Tried several of his soups - didn't like any of them.
Leek and potato soup is so easy to make, wouldn't ever buy it. 3 or 4 leeks, couple of potatoes, chop them up and simmer in veg or chicken stock til tender, whizz and season to taste, grated cheese on top, lovely!
I've tried the "Scottish style" chicken and leek instant soup in a cup. We actually call it cockaleekie but there are obviously sensitive souls out there with their minds in the gutter. :)
Onyhoo, it's drinkable but, if he's putting his name to it he's only in it for the money imho.
Some of his are great store cupboard standbys, the mulligatawny is divine, have not tried the leek and tatty tho.
