Penceta .......what can I do with it.?.......................................

I have some penceta but not sure what to cook with it.? I am sure I saw a tv programme and they cooked it with spring onions and some other ingrediants then mixed it with penna pasta in some sort of sauce. Would anyone no what the recipe is please.?

I'm guessing you mean pancetta? If you fry it in it's own fat and some garlic, it's lovely added to pasta dishes or risotto.

I think we have a typo here, Naz, panacetta.......it's Italian bacon, lilacben, so any dish that needs bacon - can be a little saltier than the shyt they call bacon in s-markets, but great for flavour

Yep you are right I did mean pancetta. My fingers did the walking without my brain.! Sorry!

loads of pasta sauces use pancetta, or you can put it in stews and casseroles too.
