Are there any companies that sell mithai by mail order within the UK?  I tasted some at an indian wedding once and they were gorgeous.

I dont know where you live but most towns have a 'sweet centre' selling methai. I would say it would be wiser to find one  as the methai will be fresher. When you find one  in your area ask their delivery day so yoy can enjoy them even fresher.

I've bought mithai from halalsweeties.com and I phoned them to ask about the freshness of the mithai.  They only supply mithai that is fresh and made on the same day.

Oh and the mithai was fantastic.  They even delivered to my friends house in Scotland (I posted a gift for his recent exam success).
