The white enamel (paint) inside my microwave has chipped off. The inside nows looks black in places and very messy, even when its clean. Does anyone know if there is any enamel covering I can use to replace whats come off?

No, try your hardware store?
Don't use your microwave til it's sorted though, it'll start sparking off the exposed metal and will damage your machine.

Thanks margeb.I will try my local store.
you could try cleaning the exposed surfaces , then applying normal paint. Shouldn't cause any problem if we're only talking a small area. I have done this. see www.repairfaq.org in the microwave section of the main ToC for some more ideas on this
buy a new one

I have a very old microwave the door is broken and a lot of the enamel has gone. When Im working in the shed the cat sits on it. When I'm hungry I heat up a pie and leg it out of the shed there is normally a fair few sparks but the pie is ok ,our cat looks a bit sh**y but thats probably the cheap food we feed him on. I think you can buy enamel paint in B&Q it should do the job.
