how do you do yours,i boil mine,mash with butter ,salt pepper.
sometimes mix turnips with potatoes and carrots and mash them up,under grill with some cheese,yummy

I can't do turnips.....I need a man to cut the up!

sometimes just mashed up with carrots, sometimes tossed in olive oil and roasted with other root veg and garlic, sometimes cut into chip or wedge shaped bits and used instead of oven chips.

I combine other vegetables with it, season with herbs and spices and roast.

turnip is really nice if done properly,mashed,salt&pepper,butter,cant beat it
Whichever of these lovely ways you cook root veg., carrots and turnips will keep for longer in a container of water (if you dont use them soon after buying)

Try mashing with a very finely chopped raw onion, butter salt & loads of coarse black pepper- I'm getting hungry thinking 'bout it!!
I'm with woofgang on this...I don't do turnip.
I slice white turnip into small pieces and steam or boil it, then stir in a small Boursin cheese (the garlic one) to serve with white meats like chicken, or for yellow swedes usually chopped and mashed with butter and nutmeg after boiling
