Can you freeze double cream

Whip it before freezing.... single's a bit more problematic as it tends to separate when it defrosts....

Double, whipping, clotted...yes. All others....no (too much water content)

Thanks. I think that must be the secret - whipping it first - hopefully it will not then separate on defrosting.

I have bought it in cubes so maybe needs to go in an ice cube tray to freeze.
