halogen oven

further to my previous posts, I have been experimenting with the halogen oven with mixed results. Today cooked jacket potatoes, rubbed with butter and salt, cooked alright but skins very tough. Has anyone any tips?

I part cook mine in microwave first then finish them off in the halogen.

that is exactly what I did, but skins so tough
