My wife uses a Braun Vario (300 watts), and she's very pleased with it. She's had it some time, so don't know if it's still available. Best of luck.

I have the Sainsburys Basics one and think it's brilliant! It's really sturdy and powerful, wouldn't think it was from a budget range!
