My pregnant daughter (8 weeks to go- yay!) has just rang and asked....

"Mum? Just off to Asda, im getting nappies- which one's do i get?"

I am worried about the future well-being of my grandson!

You will be there Boo so don't worry. :-)
She's bound to be in good hands with you BOO (aka Selma)!
That Avatar makes me smile btw ! :-)
Boo, with such a matriarchal grandmother i'm sure he'll be fine. You can just take control whenever you feel it nessecary

;)
Thank goodness for Nana's Boo. are you going to be a Nana, Granny, Grandma?
We bought 'new born' nappies for our first, before the birth.

He was too big for them when he finally arrived.

Yeah, but I'm dreading the day she goes shopping with him, and parks him on end of an aisle and forgets he's with her.

She's not blonde for nothing.
How old is she BOO?
What about dad, is head screwed on?
Question Author
Ta red, i'm gonna be nana.

As you can probably gather i'm VERY excited about his arrival.
its a steep learning curve, thats for sure! She'll learn fast though, we all have done!

She's nearly 22 Ummmm. I remember her asking once when Mini Boo was a baby why adults don't get nappy rash like babies do....

Yeah Bobjugs- he's a good 'un, God help him, rofl.
My Mother in Law put 'er indoors outside in the pram for some air, when she was a baby.

She forgot her, and when she remembered, the pram had a covering of snow.

Mind you, if you met my MIL, it wouldn't surprise you.
I'm a nana too Boo.II have 3 now. I was a nervous wreck when the first one came along. I just couldn't imagine my daughter going through what I knew she had to. In the end she sailed through it and wondered what all the fuss was about!
Maybe she needed to know which brand. My daughters were the same when they were expecting their first babies, I now have 3 grandchildren and another due next month.....i'm sick of forking out for prams let me tell ya!!!
tell her not to buy too many! some just arent great. I found huggies great for my lad, pampers leaked and pampers great for my daughter when huggies leaked.
oh and to join boots babyclub for extra points of nappies and baby stuff.
in fact, B00, if you buy lots online, i can recommend www.kidsstart.co.uk for cashbacks and www.kiddiecare.co.uk for baby equipment
I'm not nana, i'm grandma (my choice).

rofl PB!

I did that with Mini Boo too- whatever the weather she was parked outside the door, bundled up.

No daffy, she definitely asked me what size, not brand.
My very favourite online site for baby goods:

ach don;t worry Boo i'm sure she'll figure which was is up fairly quickly

Thanks for the links- she's pretty much got all the baby bits sorted. Lots of donations! I'm still chucking at the pram covered in snow, rofl.
