I cooked some jacket potato's in the oven yesterday and had some at 2pm but left some to cool down for later, i forgot all about them until i got up at 5pm this morning, i put them in the fridge as soon as i got up, will these still be ok or will the 15hours sat in the cold oven made them them bad? cheers

of course they are good. i do that regularly, only i purposely left them on the counter; they last for two day as the get eaten quickly.
Hmm. I fancy a jacket potato now !

Society thank you so much for your quick answer, so jacket potato's do not pick up any bad bacteria when not refrigerated after cooling down right?

Jayne how do you cook ur spuds? i wash mine then stab them all over with a knife, throw them onto the top shelf on gas mark 9 for 1 hour and 15minutes and they are nice n crispy, just how i like them lol
I'd say not Kevo. I took up this habit from my mum and it's been many years since I've been eating potatoes like this, and I'm still alive and well. :-)
Kevo ...

I wrap them in cling film and put them on the microwave for 10 mins.

I know ... bit lazy.

lol ok im gonna trust you then society and reheat them for my dinner hehe thank you, Jayne haha that really is lazy but if your starving then i guess its a quick fix hehe, i dont own a microwave as i blame them as one of my top 5 modern day cancer causes, but each to their own eh lol.
Note to self:

Throw out microwave.
... but you can test your microwave by putting a mobile phone inside, and phoning it.

If the phone rings, the seal is letting waves through, and the microwave is cooking you as well as your food.

Note: best NOT to switch on the microwave with the phone still inside.
