Has anyone ever done marmite roasties?
How do you do them and how mcuh marmite?

They sound gorgeous. Sorry cant help you but will be watching thread for your answer. I do however always use marmite in my gravy

Is Marmite the same as bovril.
No, marmite is a yeast extract and bovril is a beef extract. They taste similar...but different!
thanks for your answer geemc - I always did they were exactly the same for years but I always bought bovril.
Bovril is no longer a beef extract, but a yeast extract like Marmite. It lost its beef content in 2004.
