'Fake' Sheeps eyes - ideas please

I want to make some fake sheeps eyes for a arabian/moroccan feast.

My idea so far is quails eggs, with a slice of olive held in place by a clove.

Any other ideas (mainly coz I can't abide cloves!!)

why bother with fake ones? Your local butcher could supply any number of them given a bit of notice. They're cheap and remarkably tasty....

Pickled onions with a currant LOL

How about a peeled boiled potato cut a small hole atthe top and place a black grape. for some veins again makes slight grooves and then paint with red food colour

Peeled Lychees with a dot of Black food colouring. If you prepare them as late as possible, they should be nice and slimey :)

Not used to the new site and was gutted when I hadn't been notified of any replies - thought I was being ignored!!

Loving the lychees..... especially as they will be major slimey...
