Hi

I'm off to tenerife in May. My daughter will be 11 months.

I make up all her food and freeze them and then heat them up in the microwave when at home.

When I'm abroad we'll be out and about and wont have as much access to microwaves.

Can anyone recommend meals I can make up in the morning that i can serve cold?

Found a good nice easy meal of cottage cheese with pinapple and add chicken to it.

I'll probably take some jars with me but would like to make meals myself

You may find her appetite decreases when you are away becasue of the heat, so she might be quite happy with snacks like little sandwiches or pasta salad or cold toast with cream cheese and fruit - she will need to keep her salt up so I wouldn't worry too much about giving her a few baby type crisps as well. if you are out at a restaurant or cafe, you may find something on the menu suitable for her to snack on, even if it is only bread and butter and just make sure she gets a good breakfast and plenty of drinks and if you are self catering, a good familiar meal when you are there.
Try fruit, sandwiches, carrot or celery sticks, crackers and cheese. You can also buy little pots of fruity custard or rice pud that can be eaten cold and dont need to be refridgerated.
