its a tasteless cheese and all protein.....add it to strong tasting foods for extra nourishment ie smoked salmon. I like it grilled over fresh avocado with garlic & ginger.
use it in a greek salad with olives or with rice and spices in stuffed peppers
Hi WhiteBear,

I do a cold pasta salad with sundried tomatoes in oil finely sliced, celery finely chopped, red onions finely chopped, cherry tomatoes 1/4's, cucumber chopped, radishes finely chopped and sliced green peppers.

In a huge bowl, mix up all the ingredients, crumble over the feta cheese, drizzle a little of the sundried tomato oil over season and serve.

cant wait.. yum.
I dont agree, tambourine, its a very srong tasty goats and sheeps cheese and it's lovely in a greek salad, or crumbled
over roasted vegetables.
U could be right....it didn't taste of much when served to me - but it did smell of goat.

i agree with ganesh, feta cheese is quite a strong taste and needs some other stuff to go with it. i couldnt eat it on its own.
leek and feta quiche. saute the leeks in a little butter, mix with 3 eggs, splash of milk and crumbled feta. Easy on the salt add black pepper. Pour into pastry case. bake 170 degrees for about 30 mins or until set. Serve with salad and baked pots.
I suppose it tastes milder if warm and with strong flavours. It's usually quite salty but the really good fresh stuff that I've had in Greece is delicious and not as tangy as pure goats chees. Sheep's cheese is much nicer, and feta is usually sheep or a mixture.
