i got a great one there for 5.49 in white or silver 7.00 in Asda. Thick and thin slices - brilliant for that price
A "bun warmer" eh?

Does it go in your back pocket?
Question Author
lol I got the buns for it haha
just after posting but it did not go in - got a great toaster in Asda.. 5.49 for white one and 7 for silver (not real silver of course) it is for thick and thin slices (no bun warmer
I have a dualit (no that's not ****** rhyming slang).

It's great - but it was over 80 and that was about 9 years ago. Shove it under the grill.
why won't it let me say cockney? As in Londoner, c0ckney???
Question Author
hi sally aye thats the dear ones Dualit what is so special bout them at that price?? Do they buy the bread??

I dont have a grill pan lol

Inherited the cooker with the flat and it was a minging grill pan, chucked it out then the toaster when phut! Got nowt now lol
Dualit - mainly toast-snobbery, status symbol of the posh & the culinary-education 'n all that rubbish. I bought one in the days I actually had money and a lovely big farmhouse kitchen. Not any more (the money or the kitchen).

However - they do last almost a lifetime - so I supose they justify the high price in that way. I don't expect to ever have to buy a new toaster - whereas a cheapie one might only last a couple of years or thrice.
No bun warmer but will toast the full slice

You certainly can go round with a slice of bread - wrap it in clingfilm
Question Author
hee hee you think I could? mine is just a typical Warburtons medium pan slice lol
Mine's a Dualit, too.

It will take thick toast, buns, anything.

It has little baskets. You put the bread in them, and drop them in the toaster.

And salla's right ... they're really robust.
In theory, you could put a sandwich in the basket, and make a toastie in the toaster, because you can lift it all the way out in the basket.
i've got a Kenwood electronic ..full slice size ..
with a bun warmer on the top ...but i've had it
for ages ...but it does the bizz ...so maybe try
the Kenwood site ..good luck ...
Ooh, stars.

Thank you, Weeal ... I love them !!

I think they look jolly too, Salla.

Mine is sort of a yellowy, custard colour on the ends, and chrome in the middle.
