Jam fairy cakes

I'd like to make fairy cakes with jam inside them. How do I get the jam in? I don't want slice them open and sprad the jam on. (sorry if this is a daft question..)

sorry for the spelling - trying to type and balance a small child at the same time!
you no the pipette thingys that you get with capal kiddies medicine? use one if them
Cut a small circle out of the top, not too deep, put a blob of jam in then cut the circle of cake into half and place on top of the jam so they stick up like little wings.
try putting about say half of the normal quantity of your cake mix into the case/tin then put a teaspoon or so of your jam on and then cover with the other half of the cake mix. then bake as usual. should work!!!
Hi monty, make a hole with something like a skewer & pipe it in with a piping bag.

Hi guys. Thanks for the suggestions. Think I'll try some using Jools' method and also try the piping bag. Thought jam would make a change from icing..
